Every ALPHA Leash we ship goes through a thorough quality inspection. Lets face it there are a lot of crappy retractable leashes out there.

The ALPHA Leash ISN’T one of those. You’ll not only feel and see the quality of the leash every time you use it. You’ll also have written proof because every leash we build comes with a signed quality certificate with the serial number of your leash on it.

The ALPHA Leash uses the strongest materials

  • All metal brake components

  • We 3D print the handle and switch components allowing them to an ultra grip surface, just like the ridges on your finger tips, as well as having a complex inner structure to give them optimal strength and durability

  • The spinner uses stainless steel ball bearings so that it won’t rust or wear out

In fact that’s one of our quality checks that we perform on every leash we make!

ALPHA Leash Production Cycle Testing

Using a custom designed and built, fully automated test stand we applied a stopping force of 45 lbs over 5,000 times.

The ALPHA Leash can do this because it uses hardened steel and stainless steel brake components that are durable enough to not show any wear after this type of testing.

We DROPPED it

ALPHA Leash Drop Test

Onto CONCRETE.

Accidents happen and we know your ALPHA Leash will go through a lot.

So it’s designed to handle years of daily use.

We FROZE it

ALPHA Leash Cold Weather Testing

Yes, being from Canada we wanted to make sure it could deal with the cold.

(yes, that is ice cream)

So on the coldest day your ALPHA Leash will function just like it was the hottest day of the year. And the handle is large enough that you can wear gloves with it as well!
